What are the best turntables that are at a reasonable price?
The belt in my (very) old turntable went out on mine not long ago, so I am looking at getting a new one.
This time I am thinking of going for a Direct-Drive model for the reliability aspects and as I am thinking of getting into DJing at some point, so I may buy two even. And it must be able to do both 33 1/3s & 45s.
I am leaning towards the classic Technics SL-1200 series due to their bulletproof reputation, but does anyone have any other ideas for good turntables?
I must add though, I’m not made of money, but I don’t want a cheap piece of crap either and will pay a fair price if required.
